Weekend Craft

They say it could be a chilly weekend! I don't know about you guys but my kids go CRAZY if they cant go outside! Why not have a backup plan?! Here is a super cute craft idea for the kiddos. Get them ready for thanksgiving and see what they are grateful for! We asked some kids around the center what they were grateful for and this is what they said:

Emilyn- Her home and beautiful mountains
Dierdra- Food
Jillian- When flowers come up
Zolara- Cupcakes
Landry- Is thankful for gift cars

I am grateful for my job! The ladies I work with and the little people that make it all worth it!

This cute Thanksgiving craft idea comes from Lindsy over at Preschool Alphabet and is a great way to get your kids to think about everything they’re grateful for in their lives. Little ones will have tons of fun picking out different coloured paint chips and putting these turkeys together.
Once your Colourful Thankful Turkey is finished, hang it up on a wall or in a space where your child will see it and be reminded of all the things that make her happy.
What you’ll need:
  • Paint chips in various colours
  • Brown construction paper
  • Googly eyes
  • Yellow construction paper (for beak)
  • Hole punch
  • Scissors
  • Metal Brad
  • Glue
